Lucy Hale will soon be friendly with an award from Friendly House.

The actress has been selected to receive the Humanitarian Award at the 34th annual awards luncheon put on by the longstanding residential substance abuse recovery home. The honoree program will also see trophies presented to musician and Warner Chappell Music senior vp of A&R Greg Sowders (Visionary Award), behavioral health leader Zina Rodriguez (Excellence in Service Award), and psychologist, author and researcher Dr. Don Grant (Unsung Hero Award)

Also booked for the event are Bishop Briggs as a performer and presenter, Portugal. The Man rocker John Gourley as a performer, Morgan Mallory as event chair and Friendly House executive director Christina Simos, who will take the stage. The luncheon fundraiser is set to take place at L.A.’s Fairmont Century Plaza on Sept. 14.

For Hale, best known for a starring role on Pretty Little Liars, she will receive the shine after stepping forward to share her sobriety journey. In January, she shared with her 23.9 million followers on Instagram that she reached a milestone of two years clean.

This continues to be the greatest gift I’ve given myself. I remain so grateful for another year of growth, growing pains, lessons, joys and self realizations. To be able to show up as myself and to be greeted with such warmth and acceptance is something I do not take for granted,” she wrote. “The interactions, conversations and moments of vulnerability from people I know, people I used to know, from people I’ve hurt, from people who’ve hurt me, from strangers and even people on the internet have given my life so much color and meaning.”
