Wicked stars Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo channeled their characters’ signature colors for the 2024 Paris Olympics Opening Ceremony red carpet.
Grande opted for a 1950s-esque sleeveless pink ankle-length gown, from designer Thom Browne, according to WWD. The chic dress featured a pink bow in the front. The Grammy Award-winning singer finished the ensemble off with white gloves and a long pink bow in her tied-back hair.
Erivo, also in a 1950s-esque gown, dazzled in her character Elphaba’s signature emerald color. The Tony Award-winning actress, styled by THR Power Stylist Jason Bolden, wore a strapless dress with an angular skirt. Erivo added a dramatic flair to the outfit with a matching wide-brim hat. Unlike her co-star, she opted to skip gloves and instead color-coordinated her long, intricately decorated nails. The actress wore jewelry from Roberto Coin’s Venetian Princess collection and Obelisco collection including an 18K rose gold chrysoprase and diamond pirouette earring and an 18K rose gold diamond and green tourmaline bangle, among several other pieces.
